Who We Are

Calvary Church has served West Michigan for over 100 years at five different locations.
Our mission is to love God, care for one another, and serve the world. Jesus said that the whole Bible is summarized in the two greatest commandments: to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We are all broken people living in a broken world. It is our goal to help each other to experience new life and eternal hope through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to help each other to put the two greatest commandments into practice in our lives and relationships. We believe that the Bible is God’s trustworthy message for all people. We believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation. We believe that everyone in the world needs to hear God’s story.

Serve with Us

1 Peter 4:10 says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” At Calvary, we take this very seriously and it is our hope and aim that 100% of our people get involved!  Whether you are a musician, gifted with children or older folks, a wonderful teacher or good at cleaning…By His grace God has designed and gifted you purposely so that you can serve the family of faith, and the world!  And we need each and every one of you to make Calvary a place where God is glorified and the Good News of Jesus is spread to our community, and the ends of the earth! Online Giving

As part of our worship to God in response to the love He freely gives us through Jesus, the people of Calvary freely give their money (in addition to their time and talent) to fund Calvary’s ministries and advance Jesus’ mission through us. This occurs during our gathering when offering plates are passed. Calvary’s people may also choose to prioritize their giving online, setting up one-time or recurring gifts.
